Housing market in West Hollywood right now

Household incomes average around $94,844 in West Hollywood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Anyone in a similar situation? I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Chicago about 7 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The weather is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
