Raising a family in West Hollywood -thoughts?

Hi all, Born and raised here. You can expect to pay around $2,103 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks in advance! The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Uptown. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in construction. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Hope this helps!.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to Seattle it's improving.
