West Hollywood quality of life -am I missing something?

I work in marketing and Median household income is $94,844, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $2,103/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 9.2%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Growing food scene
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Limited dining options
- Lack of diversity
- Homelessness issues downtown
The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Houston about 5 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is underrated.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Feel free to reach out with questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is better than expected in most areas.
