OK so I'm originally from Salt Lake City and With a population of 116K, West Jordan is a mid-size city. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 3 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is improving.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much developing but now it's excellent.
