West Jordan is underrated, change my mind

I keep seeing people overlook West Jordan when talking about great places to live. With a population of 116,277, it's big enough to have everything you need but small enough to feel like a community. The food scene is amazing. Weather is moderate — about 49F average.

Coming from New York, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are cheaper.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Westside. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Check out the University District area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Coming from San Francisco, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are about the same.

Weather is the biggest factor for us. Four seasons are nice, not too extreme either way.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.

I'd add that the school system has been improving steadily. Otherwise spot on!

Don't sleep on Maple Heights. It's up and coming and still affordable.

The job market has been improving lately. Several education companies moved in recently.

I've lived in Westside for 2 years and it's decent, has its pros and cons.

If you can afford it, Highland Park is the best place to live. Period.
