So, I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 20.6%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $815/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $46,663 in West Monroe. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up.
