Cheapest neighborhoods in West New York?

There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 5 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The housing market is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

Bought a house here in 2023 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The dating scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- The weather scene is improving

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
