Alright, I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $410,200, which is pretty steep. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thoughts? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in West for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Affordable housing options
- The weather scene is challenging
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. No regrets on my end..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Denver it's solid.
