Moving to West Palm Beach — what should I know?

Hi all, We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $369,800 on average. Poverty rate is 11.3%, which is around average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'm a nurse and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 3 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
