Should I move to West Point or stay in Austin?

Hey folks, I'm a 25-year-old lawyer and The median home value here is around $119,300, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $678/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up.

West Point in the winter -how bad?

Poverty rate is 26.4%, which is higher than I expected. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What do you all think? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
