OK so Just moved here 10 months ago and It's a a small town city with about 11,559 people. The unemployment rate is 0.8%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 11,559, West Point is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up.
