Not sure if this has been asked before, but My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $83,475, which feels pretty solid for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
