Is West Richland still affordable?

Random thought, It's a a small town city with about 17,126 people. Household incomes average around $118,056 in West Richland. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much pricey but now it's surprisingly good.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in West area are decent. Kids love it here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Oak Park. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in finance. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
