How much do you pay for rent in West Sacramento?

Hello, My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What do you all think? The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in West. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in consulting. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Definitely worth checking out..

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
