Should I move to West St. Paul or stay in Sacramento?
Rent is about $1,195/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's better than expected for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in construction. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
