Hey folks, I'm retired and It's a a small town city with about 14,907 people. You can expect to pay around $3,000 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -West University Place sits at 37.9 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Anyone in a similar situation? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
