So, Just moved here 5 months ago and It's a a mid-size city city with about 138K people. Median household income is $88,604, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider — West Valley City sits at 699.4 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to.
