Why I chose West Valley City over bigger cities

Hello, I've been here for 18 years and It's a a mid-size city city with about 138K people. Household incomes average around $88,604 in West Valley City. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Four distinct seasons
- The walkability scene is average

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..
