Freelancing from West View -experience?

Hello, I'm a college student here and It's a a small town city with about 6,582 people. Median household income is $70,954, which feels about average for the area. Household incomes average around $70,954 in West View. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What do you all think? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I've lived in Downtown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- The outdoor recreation scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is challenging in most areas.
