Best industries in West Whittier-Los Nietos right now

I work in consulting and The median home value here is around $607,100, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 6.4%, which is pretty low. With a population of 25,459, West Whittier-Los Nietos is a smaller city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Would love some local perspective. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely excellent and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
