Housing in West Whittier-Los Nietos compared to Phoenix

Curious what people think. Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $607,100 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Bought a house here in 2023 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great Korean places. it exceeded my expectations.
