Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. You can expect to pay around $1,939 for rent here. Homes are going for about $607,100 on average. Rent is about $1,939/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
