What to expect moving to West Whittier-Los Nietos?
Alright, The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Am I overthinking this? Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in The Heights. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in government. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Korean.
