How are the schools in Westchester?

First post here. I work in healthcare and Household incomes average around $75,905 in Westchester. It's a a smaller city city with about 53,082 people. Average temperature is around 77--F, so it's warm year-round. You can expect to pay around $1,734 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely tough and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Downtown) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
