The good and bad of living in Westerville

OK so I'm single, late 40s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Westerville sits at 180.9 per 100K. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Does this match your experience? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 12 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
