OK so I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $107,054, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,409 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- The housing market scene is tough

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. No regrets on my end..
