Anyone else love living in Westfield?

Hi all, I've been here for 3 years and Poverty rate is 14.1%, which is around average. Rent is about $769/month for a decent place. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Worth the trade-offs?

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The community vibe is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Eastside for 2 years. Moved from Salt Lake City for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is solid. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
healthcare is strong here. hospitality is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are established for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor scene is surprisingly good - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Eastside schools are surprisingly good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not a lot of cultural diversity. Road conditions need improvement. And job market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For couples, I'd say this is a 8/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is tough in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Riverside. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in government. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The safety is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
