Things Westlake Village needs to improve

Hello, Median household income is $174,069, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 7,829 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Boston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Definitely worth checking out..
