Freelancing from Westland -experience?

Hey everyone, I'm single, late 20s, and It's a a smaller city city with about 84,155 people. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 10.7%, which is around average. Median household income is $62,216, which feels about average for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What would you do? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 13 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
