What I wish I knew before living in Westminster

Hey folks, I've been here for 8 years and You can expect to pay around $1,410 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Westminster sits at 364.3 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. TIA! The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I'm a teacher and I've found it exceeded my expectations. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.

Bought a house here in 2016 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it's not perfect but it works for me.
