OK so Crime rate is something to consider -Westmont sits at 64.9 per 100K. Poverty rate is 7.2%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,427 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Should I be concerned? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
