Anyone regret moving to Weston?

Random thought, I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $644,100, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Crime rate is something to consider -Weston sits at 45.9 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Worth the trade-offs? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from New York about 3 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in Greenfield for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Strong sense of community
- The public transit scene is decent

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Good luck with whatever you decide..

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much stable but now it's solid.

I'm a marketing manager and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Seattle about 2 years ago. The main reasons were weather and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is decent.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Tampa about 11 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is improving.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Happy to answer more specific questions..
