Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $644,100, which is pretty steep. With a population of 67,952, Weston is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Let me know your thoughts. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

I work in legal here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is improving. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.
I've been here 7 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
