Weston is underrated, change my mind
Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 11 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Weston sits at 45.9 per 100K. Rent is about $2,794/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
Pros:

- Strong sense of community
- Walkable downtown
Cons:
- Sprawl everywhere
- High property taxes
- Chain restaurants dominate
Am I overthinking this? Any help is appreciated. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
