Career opportunities in Weston, WI

OK so Median household income is $75,565, which feels about average for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots? The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Came here for work and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The safety is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The public transit is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Definitely worth checking out..

I work in tech here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is underrated. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely tough and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Houston, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Limited shopping options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want walkability, then yeah this place is great. But if safety matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, No regrets on my end..
