How much do you pay for rent in Weston?

I've been here for 16 years and The median home value here is around $215,900, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 44--F, so bundle up in winter. You can expect to pay around $975 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Let me know your thoughts. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'm a chef and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely pretty good and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Riverside) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've lived in Midtown for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The outdoor recreation scene is decent

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Happy to answer more specific questions..
