Hi all, Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $75,565 in Weston. You can expect to pay around $975 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.
I've been here 4 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into running, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in West. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in education. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
Definitely worth checking out..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is better than expected in most areas.
