Biggest downsides of living in Westport Village?

With a population of 2,863, Westport Village is a small town. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thoughts? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Fairview. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in tech. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Asian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
