Westview is underrated, change my mind

I'm single, late 40s, and Rent is about $1,019/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots?

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is decent in most areas.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is pet-friendliness. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 14 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Highland area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
