Best kept secrets of Westworth Village, TX

Alright, Rent is about $1,734/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. Any advice would be great. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Sunset for 3 years. Moved from Miami for cost of living. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is better than expected. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
tech is strong here. retail is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are established for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor scene is excellent - we have biking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Sunset schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Road conditions need improvement. And food scene can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 8/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I work in manufacturing here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is better than expected. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Riverside. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in finance. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Westside. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in finance. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Definitely worth checking out..
