Rent in Wetumpka getting crazy

So, I work in tech and You can expect to pay around $1,088 for rent here. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I overthinking this? Thanks! Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
