Hey folks, Household incomes average around $100,077 in Weymouth Town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Thoughts? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Springfield. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in construction. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
Hope this helps!.

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Houston about 10 years ago. The main reasons were school and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is solid.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Happy to answer more specific questions..
