Is public transit usable in Weymouth Town?

Longtime lurker here, I'm retired and Rent is about $1,861/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thoughts?

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much developing but now it's solid.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great Vietnamese places. the quality of life is solid.
