Relocating to Weymouth Town, MA -pros and cons?

Hey folks, I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $100,077 in Weymouth Town. Median household income is $100,077, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Any advice would be great. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Maple Ridge. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in government. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
