Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 14 years and Household incomes average around $87,598 in Wheat Ridge. Homes are going for about $584,700 on average. Rent is about $1,493/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Let me know your thoughts. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The healthcare is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..
