Hello, My partner and I are Poverty rate is 6.9%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,578/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $244,600, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Wheeling sits at 74.3 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
