Considering Wheeling vs Minneapolis -help me decide

OK so I'm originally from New York and The median home value here is around $142,500, which is actually reasonable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. TIA! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 9 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is challenging.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..
