Rent vs buy in White Plains -what makes sense?

Hey everyone, Homes are going for about $624,100 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
