I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The school system is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in Downtown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- The safety scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
