Housing market in White Salmon right now

Hey folks, Born and raised here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Any advice would be great. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Cedar Grove. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in consulting. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Definitely worth checking out..
